I have a lot of ELLs in my classroom (and I teach Kindergarten!) so visuals are usually a must for everything I create. This behavior contract worked really well because I had the behavior that I wanted to see modeled at the top and when it came time to give the child a smiley/frowny face, we looked at the pictures together to see if he followed his plan for that time period. He had to earn a certain amount of smiley faces for the day/week to visit with an administrator and show off his behavior plan, and also visit their treasure chest. The Behavior Plan is for a whole week and you can print them off 2 to a page.
Head on over to the linky party and share what you do in your classroom!

I'm in first grade and have mainly ELL's too! Thank you for sharing...it's PERFECT!
Thank you so much for sharing. This is perfect for a couple of my higher functioning students with ASD.
Nice. I use a "Go for Green" chart that I explain to the students and we act out what is acceptable/not acceptable behavior in the classroom. There are warnings and depending on how many warnings the student receives depends on the light color they get. I write notes throughout the day for the warnings and write them on their GFG chart, which is sent home daily for the parents to sign. The students fill in their light color each day. I also have incentives for going a certain amount of days with a green. It worked really well last year with my 1st grade students who had a hard time taking responsibility for their behavior.
